Hüsges and DC Connected Car launch joint service for fleets and vehicle fleets

[Munich, September 2023] - Together with our hardware partner TwoTronic, a leading provider of scanner systems for vehicles, we are pleased to announce the launch of a groundbreaking cooperation between Hüsges and DC Connected Car. As of September 1, 2023, the two companies will jointly offer an innovative service that takes vehicle appraisal to a new digital level.

The proven appraisal process of vehicles with the state-of-the-art scanners of TwoTronic and the appraisal and software expertise of Hüsges is now complemented by the unique service of DC Connected Car GmbH. This new approach enables a holistic digital vehicle diagnosis in which defects, mileage and the technical condition of the vehicle can be digitally, precisely recorded and attached to the appraisal.

Hüsges, a company with over 60 years of experience in appraisal and vehicle valuation, has become a digitalization pioneer in the industry. The many years of expertise are reflected in an impressive variety of applications and system modularity. In cooperation with renowned partners such as TwoTronic, Audatex and DC Connected Car, it is possible for Hüsges to offer end-to-end digital condition recording, damage assessment and residual value determination for the first time. Depending on requirements, the condition assessment can be carried out either with a permanently installed scanner or conveniently via cell phone. Further information is available on the website www.instavalo.com.

DC Connected Car, on the other hand, offers a remote diagnostics platform that enables its partners, including assistance companies, workshops and experts, to use remote maintenance functions. In this way, customer vehicles can be networked and potentially made operational again in the event of breakdowns or faults. DC Connected Car's Diagnostic.Cloud. can read vehicle data and check in-depth ECU data, fault codes and freezeframe data. For certain manufacturers, even write functions such as resetting an ECU or clearing the fault memory are possible.

The joint initiative between Hüsges and DC Connected Car aims to significantly increase the efficiency and accuracy of the vehicle appraisal process and, above all, to provide fleet customers and fleet managers with an unmatched service. This innovative partnership marks a significant step towards the complete digitalization of the vehicle inspection process.
